This is our last PWD. Our car is 5/8 thick and 2oz tungsten behind back wheels. And 1/2 oz in front I want to tune to a 4on the floor RR. Here’s my dilemma… my left back axel slot crumbled so I have to epoxy in the wheel which I planned to canter. If a thinner car will make a big difference I...

I think so too. Going to work on them. I read that you should leave the gaps slightly bigger in the rear if you can your wheels?

I did sand them to 2000. There is some graphite residue on them right now

Right front, but remember, I can’t bend axels and have to have 4 wheels touching. It works because my axel was a bit “bent” out of the box
