The pack prohibits graphite because of the mess. Some people ruined it for the rest of us. I applied out graphite at home. At check-in, we checked weights, adjusted if needed, and made some test runs. Other people were applying graphite at the check-in, which made a mess of the church's tables.

Our scout pack only allows white Teflon lube. Any cars lubricated with black graphite or any other lubricant ahead of time will be disqualified. They will apply the white Teflon lubricant at check-in. I've read that white Teflon lubricant is slower than no lubricant. What is everyone's...
