Today was my son's last district race and he smoked the field, winning all 12 of his races by at least a car length and setting a bunch of track records...including the first sub 3 second time on the track. Funniest part was all the dads taking pictures of the car after the race - you could tell...

Wish we had a track to test, TRE! There has been a really fast car at districts the last couple of years so we went really aggressive for our last run. May just set the steer to 6" and let the chips fall!

We just put the wheels on and the DFW weight is only 11.85 g...should we move a cube over? Drill is dead on and prep is really good. Thanks in advance for the advice!!!

You guys are making me feel better for districts next week. We used a block plain to taper the dominant side after drilling, taking about 1/16 off where the front wheel is. I was a little worried about the our rule that there must be 1 3/4 inches between wheels....didn't think about the wheel...

You got it Mojo...we drilled using the silver bullet and then re-cut the slots on the band saw.

Our rules state that we have to use the axle slots, but they can be re-cut if they are not straight....
