LB - I just went through this for a scout race 2 days ago. A race where the scout leader wrote the rules himself EXTREMELY strict, yet nobody tech inspects his car and he has 2 cars that dominate EVERY year..... So, with that challenge I helped a buddy using my knowledge learned from this...

First, place the car with toothpicks on to graphing paper that has squares; this will show your alignment issue. Also, "maybe" when you flipped the car over to drill the other hole it's off a hair. We prefer to drill the rear axle holes at a -3 degree cant. Do you have the weight up 5 ozs?

I compared the SS National Championship times from 2013 to 2015 and you can see a huge jump in speed in just 2 years! My SS car times are in yellow on the bottom left side for 2015. My fastest car that finished 45th this year place would have finished 8th just 2 years ago. Proper Prep, oil...

I took off (April 23) at 6:00am and arrived at 2:00. Had a blast watching JBD tune a few of my cars for me, he worked his magic!!! Nice to leisurely work on cars and test them over & over. I just hope to qualify for the Mains this weekend.... Learning a lot
