Can a bent axle be polished? I ordered 4 grooved axles that were all to be straight. One of the axels came pre-bent to an unspecified degree. Is there a way to still polish it? I ordered it from derby dad 4 hire.

Is the weight balancing not as important as a 4 wheel touching rail-rider? My front right tire has the primary steer at 3” over 4’. The left front has only 1” per 4’.

Weight pack? The block was drilled and weight pockets cut by dd4h. Somehow the car had 10” of steer when I put the wheels on. This car can go faster than 3.1761 (42’ unkempt best track) My son and I fully build the car last year with a best time of 3.1696.

What size is needed and how many of each. at least 2 to check rwar wheel alignment? If so, can one be used for graphite burnishing?
