John is selling it again - unless you think the latest version is not as good as before, buy some more ! Why take the chance ?

    Dad "unlimited" class wheels

Carl, what kind of track will you be racing on ? If it's a clean, well setup aluminum track, I would suggest investing in a used, but still local race competitive, bearing wheels and bearings. If it's a junk, wooden track, make your own and build something to survive the stop section.

    Another Build for Eliminator

I haven't had much time for forums for a while, but I do have a comment about the whole body width, wheelbase, etc. chase that was going on here. My two cents is that there is no magical wheelbase. Wheelbase is more important for street stock and street pro where you are trying to fit fenders...

    Black Ice System V2

OK, so eliminate the old Polish #2, re-label the original #3 as #2 and #4 as #3 and follow the new instructions. Think I got that. I didn't see re-prep really addressed. I was thinking that I should start with the new Step #2, BUT use a non-wax, non-stripping auto cleaner INSTEAD of Dawn for...

Silver Bullet vs Goat Boy Drill Fixture ?

I agree with Bulldog - I would want to know what I was getting. The one I use for drilling (and checking blocks) is Flatness Grade A (Inspection) I believe and it came with paperwork mapping the tolerances. This was one step up from the regular Grizzly product, but not much more money.

Silver Bullet vs Goat Boy Drill Fixture ?

I have (4) good tools for drilling blocks, this includes a couple of GoatBoy's tools, the Silver Bullet and an adjustable angle block. It's great being able to exploit the advantages of each. I test every piece of wood first though on my granite block and make sure it lays perfectly flat on...

    Proxxon Drill Press

I bought a used Proxxon off of Amazon a while back, back because it was way off, didn't want to even spend the 60% of new price for that, so I sent it back. I also bought the Microlux DP from Micro-Mark which has some better paper specs than the Proxxon. I had that table milled, but once you...

A belated, but super well deserved congratulations to you and your wife Bulldog ! That is one lucky little guy to be part of your great family !! I haven't been able to check for announcements lately working feverishly to finish that project you helped me on. And welcome to the wonderful...

    "Orange peel" textured bore

We did this process years ago with adhesive backed micromesh and I think 0.050" rod. You would get similar 'squeeks' as you do with Novus and I think it worked pretty well. Never got a good comparison to more popular methods.
