Yeah pretty good rules we just have different wheels that are heavy like 3.5 grams each. We would be a lot better if we could use lighter wheels like the cheetahs that derby dad sells.

Thanks guys this is what I needed to hear. That was my conclusion after looking at the timers. I just want the best timer for our group of boys so that we can have accurate times and good service life.

Really only one suggestion from all you smart guys with all this experience.

Hey guys have searched on here and found some good information on timers but just wanted to know what would be the best timer as far as how they last and customer service that you get from the company if you have problems.

We do something similar to this with our RA group where we set up the track a week or two before the race and let the boys run the cars. A couple of us leaders will bring some tools and help any of the boys out that have problems with their car and afterwards we will give the parents some advice...
