Yeah. The aluminum jigs with a lot of drill bushing in them are pretty pricey. Thats why I picked up the clear jig first. I also have the block, but I didn't really like it.

Most people say to, but John says to use a drill with the silver bullet extreme.

Like I said earlier. I have had no problem with drills using Jeff's clear jig. I use Lightning Boys method for checking. Jeff said to use a pin vise with his jig and it has worked. We have drilled about 8 bodies with it.

I don't bend them I used Jeffs clear jig on my son's scout cars. I'm going to get the silver bullet extreme. More versatile with wheelbases.

That's great! Yeah know what you mean. I feel we are that way as well. I wish our scout pack was interested in physics aspect of building derby cars. The majority of our scout parents don't take the time to get involved. I'm not bragging but my son has taken the overall Champions trophy home...
