Our Cub Scout Pack currently uses version 13 Grand Prix Race Manager. If we were going to upgrade would it be best to go all the way to v19 or is there a version in-between that works a little better.

I glue cubes together into larger blocks with CA and then a couple small drops of CA on the larger block hold it firmly in place. When done with the car a little twist of a screwdriver will usually break the large block free for reuse.

Thanks for the comments guys. I don't use wax on the treads, just the edge where the DFW would rub against the lane guide rail (and the rear wheels would if you have the wobbles). Care to comment on what you would clean the treads with if not alcohol? Dry cloth? Other cleaner?

Just curious about something. I am using the 4 part Black Ice system on my wheels. If I do a final alcohol wipe down of the treads before putting them in box to ship to a race, could the alcohol remove the waxes on the outer rim?

Did you do anything to reprep them?

Does that mean my set is also mislabeled? My Green stuff is #2 and purple stuff #3.

I ordered the system 2 months ago and my colors are in the same order. Only difference is my #2 green stuff is in the squeeze bottle and the #3 purpleish stuff is in one of the black plastic containers.

Thanks for the input guys. Who would have though that someone could spend so much time thinking about and enjoy tinkering with a block of wood with wheels and axels.
