They did the same thing back in 2015. They completely rewrote the Rules that year adding a whole new class called Pro Stock.

I am helping a couple of Scouts work through their ever changing rules. It stinks going to a Race that you are very really sure what the rules are.

Their Rules are going backwards.

The only differences between the two classes now is the wheel base and having to use the slots the best that I can tell. These guys need to get a clue.

My guess is that too much material was removed from the inside edge making the tread width too narrow and the wheel potentially light. The micrometer is a "C" clamp in the hand of someone that does not know how to use it correctly.

Were they using the Maximum Velocity Wheel Gauge to check the diameter and width? I know of two cars that had the inside edges machined that did not have an issue at Inspection.

Sounds like that Race still has the same issues from last year when I was involved. We did have a Lube/Rework area the last two years. It was definitely better than the first race in the back of Collision Shop.
