    What test track?

I have a bunch of the same plastic tracks as stated above....Im just starting out as well and didnt want to spend a bunch of money so all im doing is using the tracks to comparing the cars I made to ensure each build or tune is faster than the previous (I have enough track to make 2 lanes, 30...

drilling for toe and cant of dfw

I believe DD4H has a predrilled block (using the Silver Bullet) that is drilled to ensure proper cant and proper DFW alignment (cant and steer) so that you can just install the axels straight in the holes. I believe its called the Plug and Play block (no tuning required!) Awesome stuff! W

    New Oil Believer

Just to qualify, The junk car did was graphited but farther back than my son's real car so the initial difference also had some to do with his car being better tuned....I also likely did make some adjustments to the wheels a bit when I put them back on (in one case I had to adjust because it...

Just thought id share a short impromtu experiment....just got in the axel, wheel polishing kit and oil from DD4H (along with the DVD) and was itching to try out the process. Took a pretty junk car that I made in like 20 minutes (from extra parts I bought a while back from other sites before I...

    Races

Kind of a silly question I know but do most of you make a new car for each of these races a month? of do you just take the car after the race, retune, adjust etc and resubmit for the next race? or do you make new bodies but transfer wheels and axels and retune....

    axel polishing limit?

I came across an item on ebay for Axels that it states is buffed up to 60,000 grit! This made me wonder if there is a limit to how much polishing is needed to reduce friction....at some point id suspect there would be very little significant gain....just more work cost and effort Saw some...

    ? for DD4H regarding blocks

Another quick clarification.... for the EZ tune block, while its drilled canted, you would still need to order the axels with one bent to tune for the DFW....but for the plug and play block, holes all canted and tuned and so all 4 axels are just straight without the need to have one bent... Was...

DFW wheel and axel "slot" rubbing

given that its still awhile before the next den race (one year lol) ill fool around and see how much work it is to put something in the slot....putty, a toothpick, then sand smooth and put something like nail polish to fill in any holes and then rub graphite all around and feel if it is...

DFW wheel and axel "slot" rubbing

Hey all....quick question, and perhaps a silly one...but according to our rules locally, the axel must sit in the slots on the block. I have no problem drilling holes on top or thru them or using the awesome block from DD4H that is precut with slots in them....but the question is.... for the 3...
