Hello all, my son finished 1st place in pack race. We fine tuned his design from last year so we know it should be fast. He placed second at district. It runs straight and smooth. The axles are glued. We did some last minute graphiting. What is the best way to graphite the car now? Should we run it on a treadmill?

+1 What Tre said, especially since your axles are glues. You wont be able to change your wheels if you damage them or burn em down doin that.

I think that would be fine. If the car is runnin good n you just wanna re-lube it like you said only thing you can really do is tap some in and spin away.
That first thing you were askin about is a bad word around here. Lol

I just ordered some dd4hire graphite and thought about just applying it and spinning the wheels alot

I would add that I might use a air nozzle to lightly blow out the wheels/axles. This can clear out some of the old graphite and any small particles (lint) that may have collected around the openings. Then re-lube, re-lube, and re-lube again.

Also remember to clean the wheels, especially the areas that contact either the track or the rail!
