Today was the end of an awesome year for my Scout. Pack, District and Council Champion. Time to start on his car for next year/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif

It was pretty smooth sailing until Saturday...after a 2 hour drive to Jacksonville, they rejected his car at registration for removing the outer hub step (my fault for just skimming over the rule changes for this year). Luckily, we had a new tube of matched mold numbers in the truck. All we could do to them was wax the bores, blow the leftover oil off the axles and put a couple of fresh drops on. After a quick tailgate tune he won the Bears race comfortably and the final by .002 of a second.
I was pretty close lipped last year. But, since all our close competition left this year as Webelos, I was turning all the dads on to the forum and John's products...It's no fun if your not chewing a few fingernails.
