Ok, really stupid question... I want to bring in two cars live. I know I have no chance of competing, (we have to use graphite and bsa wheels and axles from the kit) just thought it'd be fun. Can I just show up with the registration form and registration money on the day of the race? Never done this before. Thanks!
Most definitely!! It is amazing the things you can learn from come to a live event.

We will start early, probably at 9:00am. No telling how long but we will probably be running your class first.
Some dumb questions. For Street Stock, since it does not specify 4 wheels touching, then 3 wheels touching would be the norm for a fast car?

Yes, 3 wheels touching with 1 lifted is the fastest....
I would bend both front axles, raise one front wheel off the track and use the other front wheel to steer your car for railrunning. Send it in and see how it does!

I would, but I wanted to test a plug n play car I have been having trouble with. I was going to buy a new set of wheels and axles and prep them again and send it in to see if I could isolate what I was doing wrong. But with 4 on the track and standard WB, it seems I would not get a good comparison.
It may better if I just prep it with new wheels and axles and send to John in the summer when things are slower for him to look at it.

The standard wheelbase isn't going to hurt you as far as speed goes. Many of the top guys here run a standard WB just as fast as extended. The 4th wheel touching will slow you down.... I know Opa has ran 4 on the floor cars against the 3 wheeled touching cars. Some of his results may give you an idea how far behind you would expect to be..
