Awesome Chuck! Mine has the base coat but waiting for the strips to get done. I have two different color combos getting made. One of them has to have some pink! Maybe have some clear on it by the 1st.
I'm with Scott on the black/pink stripes. That big ole MOPAR will have it's hands full trying to keep up with the slicker designs of the other two. Back in the day MOPARS were very good drag cars. They did however have tons of HP, torque and could transfer weight very well. Here on the aluminum dragstrip..............everybody has 5 ounces of HP to use as best they can. It will be interesting to see if one manufacturer has the edge.
After a 9 hr drive home today, I was able to get the stripes on and the first coat of clear. I still need to get the trim pieces painted but that's a tomorrow thing.
I thought for those new to this class I would post a few pic's of the the way I mounted the body to the chassis. You will have to come up with you own measurements, these pictures will just give you a little visual. The first picture is of the side pieces that I attach to the body. I just use a epoxy to secure.
The next is what you do to the chassis to mount it to the body
Once the screws are in the chassis and the side mounts are on just slip the body on.
