I believe you can use washers for Mid America, so keep that in mind!
Last year at Mid-America my boy ran his Enderman car, no fenders and semi-lightened wheels, but not Mid_America cut wheels in the graphite division, had runs between 2.9957 on the first heat and 3.0246 for his 6th and last heat. Finished with a 6th Place Wolf Trophy, 6th of 22 Wolves, 33 of 114 Overall.
Does that give you an idea of the level of competition at MA? Run your car, you may be surprised!
Hope that helps!
That helps out a bunch!!!! I always kinda thought graphite on the outside would cause slippage. We are running a 3 wheel rail rider... I was honestly just hoping to be real competitive at a district level.. At this point I might be messing with a good thing and go overboard, and do more damage than good. Congrats on your boy doing so well.
