Has anyone tried the nail polish on the back side of the axel head? Would it make more friction by making it larger? Going to give it a go on my new build..

I've heard bad things about that because it's nearly impossible to get it as flat and level as the axle head. But give it a try and see what you get.

What If You Machined The Washer To Fit The Wheel Where The Double Step Was Removed And Glued It There Then The Highly Polished Stainless Would Ride On A Much Slicker Surface?

A cool idea but I think it would add weight to the wheel, be tough to balance it, and might be illegal for SS (considering no adding things to the wheel rule, or perhaps the no bushings rule)

But Laser, washers are allowed in SS. The rules don't say where you can put them. As long as it doesn't enter the bore, I don't see how it would be called a bushing.

As Far As The Additional Wheel Weight, It Being So Concentrated Near The Axle Would It HurT That Much? If It Was Adding Weight To The Tread I Could See A Issue WitH The More Rotating mass
