Has anyone tried the nail polish on the back side of the axel head? Would it make more friction by making it larger? Going to give it a go on my new build..

I've heard bad things about that because it's nearly impossible to get it as flat and level as the axle head. But give it a try and see what you get.
I have tried many things including Teflon and Delrin as an axle head... I am faster with well polished Stainless Steel.
I guess I'll have to hang them upside down to make sure the jig is coated well on the axel head./images/boards/smilies/smile.gif
Thanks for saving me from myself! I was thinking of this also. Wish someone would have told me that trying to polish with krytox would eat the paint off my car!

But Laser, washers are allowed in SS. The rules don't say where you can put them. As long as it doesn't enter the bore, I don't see how it would be called a bushing.
