Yes for all those who have seen my other post, yes it worked almost perfect. Although they changed the way we run our race. We usually run all cars in each lane (4) then have the top 4 cars have a run off in each lane in the finals, so the car runs 8 times down the track. The fastest 4 times , out of eight, get recorded in the computer and are totaled and that determines the places. This time they changed it right after the cars were already checked in. Just 4 times down and we'll total. Because they didn't tell us this , we ended up in third. That's ok , my son really, really wanted third, because that is the one trophy he didn't have. We give trophies for fourth place and up and best in show.
Here are the times and places on 42ft best track. Cars were not tuned on a track.
Friends car(I built) 1st 3.14. 3.06 3.06 3.05 total 12.33 . Second ( other top rival) 3.19 3.14 3.15 3.13 total 12.63 My sons 3.28 3.16 3.10 3.10 total 12.66. Both of my cars had to much graphite in them the first time down!!
Because our first bad run it cost us second, because if we ran eight times down the track,we would of smoked second..
Every thing was a success though, we accomplished all our goals , and was praised highly by all the people I built cars for(7) they were all in the top ten.
