I’m in need of a set of fenders for Mid America and don’t have the equipment to try and make some from balsa. The pre made balsa sets I have seen are extremely expensive however I have seen some 3D printed sets pretty cheap.
I’m look for pros and cons here or should I just buy GEE trying to find out the best option for a pre made fender. Are the 3D comparable to balsa?

Thanks

I have never done balsa but have 3D. If you use 3D make sure you close up the ends of the fenders. They also need tobesanded smooth.

I prefer balsa but a have a very successful box stock that ran the Gee fenders. If you’re limited on time, they’re an easy install.

Thanks for the input just ordered the GEE fenders.

I wish I had a track I would love to do a comparison of the GEE vs 3D vs balsa
