Those are some nice cars, and truck. I count myself lucky to have actually handled them in a race. as good as they look, the pics do not do these cars justice.
great job!!

Those are some awesome cars. Great craftmanship! I like the white one too! What were your times with that car?
White car didn't get any tuning except setting steer - ran late finishing the paint. Also, it was built more for design then speed - I have a new car in the plans with a faster design for the fenders.

Anyway - avg speed was 2.9290 whereas the winner was 2.9182. My black car was 2.9190. Missed first by 0.0008 secs.

Yea the reason I asked is because I built one with similar fenders and didn't have much success. Curious if its the design or something I did.

A few things - It has a lot of paint on it - so I couldn't get the weighting just where I like. I have a bit more clearance between the wheel and the fender then I wanted - and ideally I would have a shorter fender - just to the top of the wheel. But like I said - I really wanted to build one in this style - so I did. I like the looks - and it's not a slouch - but could use some tuning...

Great group of cars 5J's. Hope to see you on the track in Jan. and congrats on the 2nd place finish.
