7.5mm tread width gauge

I am in charge of the inspections for our district race and we are using the 7.5mm tread width like League racing. What do you use for a gauge for that?

I've seen people use go- no go gauges in the past

Just cut a 7.5mm notch in a piece of wood. If the tread fits then it doesnt pass.
