I am looking for a way to convert a current car that runs 91 axles to the
new 84G eliminator axle. Does anyone have any suggestions besides building

a new car. Some type of tubing would work.

insert dowel pins to existing holes (you'd have to make some that small)
redrill to disired dia.

Officr K-18 is right again...but for folks like Freaky who use rope for dental floss,, toothpicks would not be laying around
rofl
.....( I Love me some Freaky "PICKIN" )

No pun intende. You could also put a drop of water or 2 in each hole and you will be surprised at how much the axle hole will actually draw up. One experiment I tried was to put a toothpick in my dreml ( you could use a drill or drill press as well ) take the toothpick and using sanpaper reduce the toothpick to .088 and soak the toopick in water then put a drop or 2 of water in the axle hole..incert the toothpick and let ot dry over night . What I have found is that instead of ruining a good axle hole drill with the "fill & re-drill" technicque, this will keep the original drill position..draw the axle hole tight to the toothpick..and you can pull the toothpick out and still have your original axle location without worring about the drill bit walking around the axle hole when you attempt to drill into a toothpick..then if the axle hole is not snug enough, use thw MWD idea of using some fisking line to wrap around the 84 axle, this will definately snug your axle hole up!! Take care,

Use a 45 drill bit. Make sure it is a tungsten carbide bit so there is no walking or wandering ........SPIRIT...........

I've had good luck epoxying tooth picks in the predrilled axle holes & then after it dries over night sanding flush & redrilling

Very worth it. That is going to be a tough combo to beat. Have you consider a fresh start with a new car?
