A Special Shout Out!

Boy... I certainly read the title wrong. I read it as "A Special Shoot Out!". Then read it as LB being called out by Kinser. This is when I reread it and then realized my faux pas.

LB you certainly had a awesome showing this weekend, Congratulations!

To Lightnin Boy! He did an awesome job of taking the rest of the pros to school in Street Stock. Great job Tom, Congrats! /images/boards/smilies/thumb.gif

Thanks Kinser and all!

I had a funny conversation with my wife after the race. I told her I won. She asked Are you going to take on the best in the world next? I said this is the best in the world. So then she asked So you can ease up a little now? I paused for a bit and said ... no ... I think it gets harder from here.

Which is basically to say ... I'm proud of this achievement because you guys make it a real achievement. But I know better than to think that I've arrived. Its one race in a long series. I know everyone is already back doing their R&D and gunning for the top. I expect nothing less.

Congrats there Tom!!! Very impressive!!! Now how did you do that again?? /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif

Thanks again everyone!

It was a dominant performance for sure. The car was a work of art ...

Wow, I consider this high praise and all I can say is thanks. I'm proud of the X3 for sure, but like all my X cars it has a lot of "rough edges". I'm building some new non-X cars where the ideas and designs introduced in the X3 will be more refined.

But don't worry folks, my non-X cars are usually slower than my X cars. Go figure.

Congratulations to Kinser. I was just looking at the point standings to get an idea who is on the road for the next Man of the Mountain and it looks like Kinser has the highest points for this series thus far.
Strong work my friend!

Also, Congrats to all. That was a great race! A shout out to everyone - awesome workmanship on your cars. It was awesome to see them all lined up together.
