Advice on first fender car?

Hi all,

This is my last car to build for the adult class basically Box Stock rules. Thoughts on these fenders? Thoughts on how low they are. Should I try to drill out the mid fenders to lighten them up? I'm worried about whether or not they will clear the track.

Fenders look great! The only thing you might want to check out is the underside of your dfw. I’d suggest you cut it back enough to make sure it doesn’t make contact with the rail

It's not letting me post and I just took a 3mp picture.... I don't get it... I'm trying to show the sides and bottom.

It is telling me the size is too large.

Anyone know how I can circumvent this issue?

If you are using a phone to take the pictures, you may be able to lower the resolution or MP of your photos in your camera settings.

There are also many apps that will resize photos. Paint on windows machines has a resize option as well.

I think they may be good now, I sanded them underneath quite a bit. But now final question is, the raised wheel right now can not spin due to the fenders being that tight. Should I sand them back so it can spin if necessary? We run on a pretty nice 42' besttrack and the block was drilled using the clear 5 bushing jig. Race is Saturday and have to finish mine up today so my kids and I can focus on theirs for the rest of the week.

As always, thanks for all of your help! It has made me a crazed PWD enthusiast!

It is better to have the raised wheel not spin! Just make sure that the inner edge is polished smooth so in case you get a wiggle, that the surface that touches the rail is polished. From what I can see in the pictures, it appears to be good. It looks like the wheels will touch first.

Good luck with your races!
