Its good to see all the new guys on the forum this past month. Lots of questions have been asked and good information has been shared. Everyone has a choice where they like to seek advise and race. The members/racers at the NPWDRL are the most talented and giving builders I know. If you decide to send a car to race and you stick with us for a few months you will become better. Trust me every senior builder on this forum started out exactly in your shoes. The information and products made available by DD4H allow first time proxy racers a much more enjoyable and competitive edge than past seasons. I don't know of one racer on this forum that is not willing to mentor or help the Freshman Class survive their first couple of races or entire season. I recommend started out in the Street Stock division, its the best place to learn. DD4H has the Pro/Amateur split which allows you to get your feet wet until you get your build process up to speed (no pun intended). After you get one race under your belt, start to set personal goals. Goals don't always have to be on the track. I spent my entire 2012 season working on my prep process and car construction. I learned a thing or two last year that I'm hoping to improve on in 2013. The most important thing is to seek advise when you have a question! The worst thing that will come out of your proxy experience is knowledge. Please come join us and have some fun....oh and don't forget to ask questions....did I say that already? LOL
