Kinser, one of the reviews online described it as "gritty to the touch" so I didn't try it.

Was that the guy with the RC boats? That was one of the things that turned me from trying it also.

No sir, it was a guy on Home Depot's website. He claimed he tried it on a few different objects, including concrete and an umbrella.

The product was invented by a German Company, Nanopool, and was called Quantum Liquiglas..... They promised over and over it coming to market, but it never did.... I tried to get a sample in 2010, but it didn't happen. I think the original product had derby possibilities as a bore coating.....

Rustoleum picked up the product somehow and now it is NeverWet, but I think its current purpose and application may have pulled it away from being a derby product, but I don't know.... I am not going to spend the $20 to find out.

You can stencil cool shapes and stuff on your driveway and when it rains the kids will love how the shapes magically appear/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif

One reviewer said it doesn't have any UV protectant in it, so it won't hold up to sunlight. Another guy said it rubs off pretty easily, so it really only seems useful to separate you from your $20!
