Hello all!
I've been a lurker for a few weeks now. I'm very thankful to have find this site and all the great knowledge that it contains.
I'm here because my scout won his pack and got smoked at district this year (6th out of 29 cars) it was apparent the top 5 cars had extra help.
I was wondering if anyone in my area had a test track? If so, may I make use of it next year? Id be willing to pay to use it or I'd trade some CNC experience. I have access to 5 axis CNC machine tools and a way to program them. I'm not sure if that is extremely helpful in this hobby. But, I'd be willing to write programs or what ever I could.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Bulldog!

I'll see if I can look him up. Hopefully he is near the Northeast side of the state.

WOW more people on here from my area than I thought. How and where do you guys test run your cars? Does everyone have test tracks as a rule or do you send them off? Or do you build them and just hope for the best?

Thanks all! I met two local guys who are super helpful. So much awesome info here.(Bulldog-love the fender video!) I think I'm going to try my hand at BASX or box stock.
I'm in the process of making a Silver Bullet or my take on one. I'll post some pictures on how I did it. If anyone is interested. Then grab a drill press and a few other things.
Funny how it all started when looking for information to make my Cub scouts car go faster...
Thanks again everyone.
