Any tips/techniques/tuning on how to set up a car for use on a track without a center rail? I'm kind of lost on where to start. Thanks!

Essentially, simply reverse your DFW. Normally, it runs a negative cant and is steered toward the rail. For the outside rail track, use a positive cant ( /----| ) and steer toward the rail nearest your DFW. I would wager that you need to drill your NDFW higher than normal to keep it off the track.

Good point, wondering if the the the fronts should be drilled higher than normal to bring the nose of the car down due to the positive steer

Having your wheel on a positive cant should raise the front by the same amount as if you had it on a negative cant. If you elect to drill higher, make sure you drill your NDFW higher still.

It has also been suggested to me that you need to narrow the rear end behind the DFW, to make sure that rear wheel never touches the sidewall when the DFW steers into it.
