I actually stopped and built the car last night. I decided to make it the test car. Testing the new axle polish I am about to release. It is awesome! Got a few new experiments loaded in. See if the prep holds up for the week.

There is an old church movie I like called "Touch of the Masters Hand". I want to see that applied in the Derby world.
My car should be finished and in the mail on Tuesday.

I might chalk up another loss in my PINKS resume but it should be a good fight. I only ran it a handful of times tuning so if you get it there is probably .005 more in it.
I'm still game racing for stogies if anyone wants to get in on that. I have a ton of cigars I'm willing to gamble.
The Pinks race was a lot of fun! I want to thank John for taking me up on the challenge. His car was awesome! Congratulations John. It was a priviledge to see you racing again.
My new Pinks record : 0 and 2. Will I race pinks again? For sure. That was some intense racing, especially the last two runs.
Just to let you all know what a classy guy John is. I was completely prepared to leave my car, but John insisted that I take his new car "the Beast" and get it to run in the .97's. I made some progress with that build and it is by far the cleanest car I've built yet. John cares more about us builders growing and learning than titles or a trophy car. That's the part I've enjoyed most about this hobby is trying to make progress. As hard as it was to take the car home with me thank you John for giving the opportunity to see what tweaks I can make to bring that car up to speed. It is an honor to work on one of your cars.
Once I get it running in the .97's in traffic I will return it to you. Maybe you can give me a chance at another pinks race at that point to win it back?

I got lucky on this one! I will race pinks anytime, in any class, with anyone. Pinks is the most fun. Remember the car belongs to 7-11 now!
