how long did it take all you pros in the top ten to find the speed, i understand its ongoing but the first speed increase where it made you competitive?

You can find speed right away with DD4H products and this forum. When I first started, 2009, it was a lot of trial and error. Not a lot of information was being shared. I see guys fast on their race now, I contribute that to John's products and this forum. Good luck ask a lot questions and get a car on the track.

well picked up 2 hundreths this last build from before and it was humid in garage so may be more.... got cpl cars to send to nationals and looking to run entire motm series with two in basx and one off and on in the ss

Very true! Reso, SoGone, 5Kids, Chips and I started about the same time. It took me 2 years before I even got competitive. I didn't race every race until 2011. Not racing severely limited my learning curve. It wasn't really until I got into all of the classes that things really took off. I try to learn something from every class and most of it applies to the other classes. I incorporate what learn into the next race. I've slipped at times but try to recover. What Reso said is true. We didn't have the kind of info and products that John provides.

Its the last .01 that is hard

The last .01 is always the hardest. I'm always working on the last .01. /images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif
