What is the best was to secures cubes in the car? I would like to be able to remove the cubes when I want to build another car without destroying the car.

I think a lot of racers use some type of aluminum tape. Some use muffler tape from a parts store, I just happen to have some for home duct work that seems to work well...but for what its worth I think it is all the same stuff.

I did the same as down4derby. I used double sided carpet tape so the cubes stay where you want, then the aluminum tape to cover the opening.
They don't move at all, yet you can rearrange as needed

I arrange my cubes and then lay a piece of tape over them and pull them up. Wrap the tape around the weight pack and then glue the whole unit down into the weight well with Gorilla Glue. This ensures that my cube are tightly packed and do not shift. I then cover the whole section with packing tape to avoid air pockets. When I wish to reuse the weights I just slit the tape pack and release the weights.

I dont think its necessary but I put very thin double stick tape down first then arrange the cubes and cover with aluminum tape.

Great ADVISE !!!!! Another idea MWD and I stumbled on was to lay down the double sided tape 1st, and instead of covering the cubes with the foil tape cover them with maskink tape until you have the cubes adjusted to where you want them then remove the masking tape and recover the cubes. The reason for using the masking tape 1st is because it is easier to pull off while adjusting the cubes . Then cover the cubes with with the foil tape.
