Gulfport Ms.
In his constant pursuit of being self reliant Billy has taken his first step in his prototype axle head slotting widget. Other than his way out dated 395 type 5 Dremel his investment so far is 82 cents at Home Depot. With his free piece of 2 x 8 to mount it on, that get's him even 1 step closer. When he receives his $1.99 slide bar clamp from Harbor Freight to mount it securely on his workbench there's only 2 things left.

1. Using his Derby Work axle shaper as a holder clamped together with vise grips he must cut the correct height block of wood to center up the axle head with the Dremel cutting wheel. 2. What thickness cutting wheel Y'all think would make the best sized slot which, if needed, will get dressed up with a triangle shaped mini file.

Well now that's just too cool for school and Billy thinks it's a great widget and the price point ain't bad either. But he's a knucklehead and has to try it his own blasted way too see if it works. It appears that he's got his ducks in a row and will only have 82 cents invested.

Besides he's already drilled a hole in the joist hanger and can't return it. That would be 82 cent's down the drain and totally again' the Dumb Red Neck's Constitution LOL LOL.......RRR

They are all the same width, the big one comes with it.
The others are just hoody shop stuff, 40 teeth per inch or more, higher the better.
The drawback is I can only cut around 8 heads before the saw is dull & DD4H .91 BSA axles are to hard to cut this way.
In the long run the gunsmith tool would be about the same price over a year.
