Black Ice with Red Rocket

I got the Black Ice 3 step kit and now I see that the wax has changed to Red Rocket. Is Red Rocket better (ie. faster) than the final step in the previous kit?

Edit. Perhaps mine is Red Rocket and I just don't know it.

I think it depends on how long ago you bought your kit. I could be wrong and John can clarify but seems it’s been almost 2 years since he brought back the Red Rocket and made it the final step? I could be wrong though. I’ve had my kit like 2 years I think and it’s Red Rocket. I even bought the Red Rocket with it not realizing it was in the kit. Lol
Seems like the years are melting together these days so I could be way off though.

I think that Red Rocket was replaced by the New and Improved finish, and now Red Rocket is back. I may be wrong, but I got my kit within the last 7 months or so.
I am not complaining or more than mildly disappointed, if I need to get some Red Rocket to have the best, but if I am going to get all this stuff to be as good as I can, I don't want to settle for second best at this point.

I would say if you only bought your kit in the last year it has the latest Red Rocket. John will probably chime in to confirm.

Thanks you for your input. We are starting our first car the weekend after Thanksgiving, and I want to have the best products on hand for the build.
