Our council hosted a Blast Car demonstration today. I was asked to make one for the local scout shop. This is what Reso Jr. and I came up with:

The demo was cool. A parking lot is not the best choice for a racing surface. I'm going to do one with my Troop, but we are going to run on a Gym Floor once I get the details worked out.

Here is a short clip of his car in action. If you were to do one of these on a Gym floor it would awesome to watch. The cars run on fishing string for a guide

Look like I have been give that task for building a blast car for our Commissioner Conference this weekend. Any Hints or advice would be awesome. All I really know is that there is going to be 2 courses. one inside on carpet and one outside in the parking lot. Longest distance is the winner.

Should I assume if weight is need should be in the back? Min is 5oz. any patter design would be great to.
