While going through some of my old school PWD stuff I came across 3 BSA Razor wheels. Similar to the one in this picture. I am thinking they are from around 2009 or so, and I would hate to just throw these wheels back in the box where I found them and forget about them. Anyone else got any of these wheels? Anyone want to build a car and race (3 BSA Razor Wheels and a guide pin) based on Eliminator rules? August or September time frame? Loser pays the entry fees?

If I wasn't still a graphite-only guy, I'd be intrigued by this. If you hold onto those wheels for a few months, I might PM you when I'm using Krytox and quality axles for my builds. /images/boards/smilies/wink.gif

Ill race you, Mr. B. I've never built one of those cars, so it'll help motivate me to learn.

Cool! Just let me know what race, August or September. These wheels on an Eliminator car should look interesting.

The cars can most likely run with the other Eliminators, The racer with the slowest average time over 4 runs pays the entry fee for both cars.

Sounds good. Lets run in September so I can learn how to build these. Loser pays the entry fee of both cars for eliminator class.

I will be looking forward to the race! I will let John know that we will be racing in September!

I'll play also!!

I don't have a problem with that. Since we have three cars now we can either just race or put a few $ in a hat for the winner to upgrade from his BSA Razors.

Will it be OK to make the razors from currently available BSA wheels and race with you? Or are you limiting this challenge to the old razor BSA's - I don't have any of those!

I'm in for a BSA razor wheel race for next month. I have been working inanely hard on my current cars and am falling behind in building a new car and cutting wheels for a fun class. What I plan on doing is just taking my slower of my 2 Eliminators and building a BSA razor car out of that. If you guys still want to do it this month I'll kick in my portion.

Guys, you know what, there are like only 5 of us that has said they would like to race an Eliminator car with BSA razor wheels. The race date keeps getting pushed back because of a bunch of different reasons. BlewByU and I were going to race in August but he was waiting for parts and said September was better for him along with QuickTime. I agreed to that date!

My car will be ready for the September race and if no one else sends a car, well... it will get some track time. If other BSA wheeled Eliminator cars are there, I have my $10 waiting to go to the winner.

But to be fair, I will also send my BSA wheeled car to the October race.

One step closer to this race. Should be spending time on other cars but this will be a fun race. I cut these tonight, I'm very interested in how they will preform.

Very nice wheels. I'm thinking we should see times slightly faster than what SP cars are running. In my case that's usually pretty slow.

Trunk Sloth V2 is being reworked, took some weight out of her, and added some new technology too! Yes this is going to be fun!
