I made a camera car a few years back and accidentally made the fastest car on the track. I think I'll dig it back out and run it again for this year's PWGP, but this time hold the car back to get the other cars ahead of it first.

Very cool. I did a camera car as well. I had to hold the car back because it was faster than the others. I would also run it backwards for a different point of view.
M2/S2, It looked like your camera would pan when it took off?
My camera car was pretty ghetto, i just used electrical tape and taped a GoPro to last years car. Next year....

its a cool effect!!! wish I could say it was by design, we ran a bolt through the car and attached a regular cannon camera to it. we tried to get it to film from the left or right of the car, but as it would start down the track the camera would turn back straight. Then we just started having fun with it.
