I don't know if it needed to be called out or not, but now that it's been noticed, if you look at vendor's site, you've got to admit that the claims on the site make for some pretty good stuff to giggle about. Some quotes from the site and video:

"[on this table is] one of the fastest cars that’s ever been built for pinewood derby racing."

Also, graphite is not as good as oil because…“Graphite is not a very healthy substance to be around…if it gets in lungs it will stay there forever just like asbestos does...[his oil:] Superior alternative to slow, messy, and unhealthy (Asbestos like) graphite”

Has he heard of pencils? (and before someone else just Googles a little, look up the real info on unsafe graphite levels and you’ll see that its unsafe when as airborne dust think enough when you couldn’t even SEE through it.)

Lastly, "Our Record Holder World Champion Race Car" ...of the Blackhawk 500 race."

I mean good for him that he is starting a business, and maybe he's got some good product, but if he wants to claim to be the ultimate experts and hold the world record, maybe he should race up against some of the real league pros. (To be clear, I'm not talking about me.)

This is why a lot of businesses won't race john. I've asked a lot of them why they wouldn't b.c if they won it would help their business. Or hey don't need to because they already scam uneducated pinewood derby dads with BSA products. All and all, everyone I've asked why they won't race in NPWDRL or race john they just say he's a jerk and that's why.

I have a question about the shipping/receiving of proxy cars for the NPWDRL Nationals portion of this event. The midamericaderby website says the following:
"Cars must be received at the above address on or before Wednesday April 22nd, 2015.
Any cars received after this date will not be received in time to race."

I am planning to enter cars for the Nationals races that are scheduled for Saturday Apr. 25 (Street Stock and basx). If my cars were not received until Friday, would it not be possible for them to be delivered to the race event location for Saturday morning tech in and racing?? How about if they arrived on Thursday??
