Whats the most popular way to clean your tread? I read something about a sponge not sure what kind and some say alcohol leaves a residue. Just curious.

I use a magic eraser every few runs during testing and just before I box them up for shipping.
Sandpaper once the edges get nicked up.

I'll generally see the speed gradually drop off. If I sand the nicks out, the speed comes back.

Is your track rough or are you using the wheels for a long period of time? If I notice nicks in my wheels I scrap them.
I think it was my stop section that was the culprit. I do test my cars to death. I can tune the speed right out of anything!
My wheels have been ran on some rough tracks locally, it's probable time for me to order a couple sets of Cheetahs. Craig
If my full size wheels get really dirty, I put some iso on a paper towel and rotate them through the wet and dry section. If its just minor stuff, or for razor wheels, I use a nail buffer. Five-packs of these off Ebay are really cheap and give you a few to toss to the women in your life.
Took Kinser advise and stopped by Walgeens. I didn't think of Ebay they do have a ton of them and cheap.
