Awesome job guys, cars were fast. It was great meeting guys who were there live. Hope to see you guys again.

Wow... Just cool as heck... Live is an awesome way to spend the day... on grays to all winners... You earned it 4 sure...

+1 It was my first live race also. Everyone I met was really awesome!

Thanks to Iceman and his wife also for hosting the after party!

Greg and John put on a heck of a show! I hope to be able to make it back next year!

+1 My first live race too, what an amazing learning experience. Kudos to Greg and John and their team of support staff volunteers to put up such a big event - 2 tracks for MA and 1 pro track. Probably 400 cars racing!!

Iceman and his wife were gracious hosts, an opportunity to interact with PWD legends and meet awesome people was outstanding. I've learned so much. We should do this more often. I'll be back for the Nationsls for sure.

I really enjoy building cars and racing with you all via proxy and some friendly banter on the Boards, but I can positively say it does not compare to being at an event such as this. I was actually able to get involed in the race itself (a little setup, shagging some cars duing the race, some friendly competition/jousting, take down, and a bit of boxing cars up). If you enjoy the hobby, its an experience you really should not miss out on, if you can help it.

Along with a congrats to the winners, thanks to those above, who provided a real warm welcome to the hobby. It was great to talk to each of you.

And a special thanks to Xanthum and DD4H. Unless you were there, you'll never be able to appreciate the coordination that takes place this time of the year, or in DD4H's case, each month. QT, Kinser and Quadad - you guys are something special helping John the way you do.

JBD - you're just special. /images/boards/smilies/tongue.gif
(thx for helping out in SR; I had no clue a all).

Congrats to the winners.

I wish I would have had more time to spend on the pro side, but we were there mainly for the scout side as thus was my son's last race as a cub scout.

It was nice to get to meet you Kinser.

Bulldogs excitement was contagious as he was living large.

Last but not least, I hope the winner of the Knotty runout gage enjoys his prize.

He was even entertaining those watching on the live feed too. You knew when his boys were racing no matter which feed you were watching.

LOL, Great Race young! just great. The computer at the hotel here has no spell check so I'll wait till I get home to really share. I won't quit smiling for a while after this race, it was so great! The boys and men that I met during this weekend make me proud to be asscoiated with this forum. Thank you for being so kind to my son and I. Just one more thing, ...." ZEEEEEB ZOOOOOOBBBB!"

Bulldog, it was a pleasure meeting you and I enjoyed the multiple chats we had. You are the party and you certainly brought enough energy and enthusiasm with you to keep everyone charged up. I'm glad you and your son were able to make it there to meet everyone.

I too would like to congratulate all the winners for this past weekends race. I can't wait to see the races and results. I was with my troop on a Spring Camporee and received some text messages from Down4Derby and Radioactive congratulating me. I was super excited with that good news. In regards to my win in the Street Rod class I am extreemly humbled and grateful to Down4Derby for all of his help. I could not have done it without him. I feel like he should get all of the credit for that win. He is truly the Street Rod Champion. Thank you Scott! Your innovations in pinewood derby builds are super impressive! I don't know how many of y'all have had the opportunity to see the amount of details that go into the undercarriages on the Street Rods that he builds, but it is super cool.

Congrats guys!!! It was a pleasure meeting all of you!!!

Sure hope all my recording devices worked through out the house during the party!!! /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif
