Crazy thing happened today

So I got a call today from the rep from DREMEL tools. My son and I had won the dremel derby design contest and the prize was a all expense paid trip to north Carolina to watch a NASCAR race in may. Well, the rep who called was finalizing the details with me and I gave him some background on the Mid America pinewood derby race and told him it would be my son and I's dream if we could attend live. The sales rep made some calls and later in the same day he informed me that Dremel would send us to the Mid America race! We are so excited! We booked our plane tickets today. I'll see you guys in a few weeks, Happy building. God is good man!

I got to help with the Pinewood Derby workshops, at my local Lowe's, that Dremel was sponsoring, this year. It was fun, but none of the cars I saw turned out anything near like the one your son made.

I use Dremel tools every day for work. I typically wear one out every 4-6 months. It's usually the switch that goes. If you send it to them they will usually fix it for FREE.

I take them straight to the factory because it's close to wear I live.
