Is there a huge advantage to the cubes over the rounds? I have always used the 3/8 rounds to this point. I have a pretty good feel for where they need to be then just drill some holes, press them in and cover the bottom with tape then we are good to go.

How are most of you holding your cubes in place? I have seen some glue and some just cover with tape. Do you ever have trouble with the tape not holding and the weight coming out? Would there be an easy way to glue the weights in but still be able to get them apart and move around if needed?

I use double sided tape to hold the weights to the inside of the weight pocket then put aluminum HVAC tape on the bottom of the car to hold weights in. No failure yet and easy to remove weights.

ROUND VS CUBED WEIGHT
you can pack more weight into a area with cubes

the round weights will leave a void in between each other

round will work great at the pack level but if in council, league racing and some districts the level of competition is where you really need to get every edge there is IMO

tape will hold cubes in without any issues if you use the hvac tape

if your body is cut to remove the most weight possible, you may want to glue in the majority of the weights to "stiffen" the flex of the body (leaving a couple cubes to move for tuning)
