I just wanted to take the time to thank 5kids for the incredible decals, the Coast Guard Pilots loved the car (they were all hoping the car would win). I would also like to thank everyone for all the tips and advice you have all given me over the years. This is such an incredible forum and it is such a pleasure to be a small part of it.

Why did you wait so long to post the results and thank 5K?

What made you think to post it here instead of the car photos?

I usually don't post our wins. I just received help from 5kids on this car, he made the incredible decals and I wanted to thank him again. Finally we didn't play the patriot card, my family is patriotic and we have a great deal of respect for our armed forces and that includes the Coast Guard. We were just thankful that they provided a wonderful facility for the kids and we wanted to make a car that would honor their service. God bless!
 
I was pulling for your car to win. I grew up in grand haven, and coast guard was a big part of our lives.
