What type of double sided tape to use for tungsten cubes in weight pockets?

Please excuse me if i am behind the times on this but why are you using double sided tape?

so you don't have to glue in your weights.

I use Duck brand double sided carpet tape. Nice and tacky... you can move your weights around for tuning.

And you can still get your weights out if you don't use that car anymore.

This is what I use in my builds. It is thin and durable. I don't have any issues with weight moving on this tape.

I cut the body of my car like this. I have thin sheets of balsa and birch. To make the weight pocket, I planned on using some 5 min Epoxy to glue a square of the birch or balsa (does it matter which) to the top of the holes at the back of the car to create weight pockets. Then, I’ll put the double sided tape on the square of balsa and stick the weights on that. Then, after we get the weights right, I was going to put some foil tape across the bottom of the car to hold everything in place. Is that how I’m supposed to do it?

Yep...

Use the birch plywood, not balsa.

You can use extra thick super glue instead of epoxy
