Made a DUBS into a heavy weight PWD car. Couple buddies of mine were drinking to much and figured be pretty cool to make a few for ourselves and race them on my track. I'm using BSA axles and i drilled through the wheels. Tell you right now Dubs wheels are not round at all. But i polished the bored and used oil. Got the car to run 3.7 on 42' track. Now on BSA wheels i got it down to 3.097 on all 4 wheels. And it was actually slower running a rail runner then just 4 on the floor. Maybe just to much wait on the front. This thing weights 16.7oz.

I made a frame to attach to the body and I made a another frame so I could drill with my silver bullet then attached that to the frame. The drilled frame is drilled canted and drilled straight in the back. ;-)

Take a look...

It did a 3.342 on 3 wheels. And it ruined the dfw, I was pulling plastic shaving off the wheel when I pulled it off the track. Way to much weight on just one wheel. So the best run was canted rears, fronts flat on the floor. 3.097 on BSA axles and BSA wheels right out of the tube. With little prep of both. So there is room for improvement. But it's definitely something to tinker with. We have a 56 Ford, 86 Grand National, 87 Monte SS. Should be a great line up when we get them all done. Who ever has the heaviest car, everyone else is allowed to go to that weight If we want. Have a few beer, put a couple bucks on the table and see who wins. ;-)

Thanks for the compliments..

Can we see some pics of the other cars? I want to see the '86 Buick GN mostly.

I haven't had a chance to dig into the other cars. The mustang was the test fit. Here's a pic of the cars we have at our disposal. 87 Monte SS isn't in this pic.
