Emails Not Wanted

I've looked for a way to shut off the flow of unwanted emails from Pinewood Derby Online and I don't find one. This is a sad oversight.

Once a year for the last few years I've helped a neighbor's son get ready for the local derby. His mom adopted him when his mother was killed in an accident. I like to do what I can.

The website and forum are a good place to find tips. That said, I get enough junk mail and really don't have use for reminders of races, etc.

Please consider providing a way out. Most web designers use mail programs that permit an 'opt out' provision.

how many have you been getting? i have been a member since day 1 and i dont think i have gotten more than a dozen.

Just go to the control panel then i think it is options or something like that and uncheck the two email boxes and you shouldn't get many after that

I have every box checked and I hardly get any emails. Usually I just get emails when I get a new PM. Am I missing something?

I pay for this forum and provide it for free. It is a massive resource to the public but it is also a way for me to promote events and products. I can give people the option of not receiving emails but I removed it. Receiving emails is going to be a small price to pay to have access to this information. Thank you for your support.
