why does everything go wrong just when you think everything is going well.
I am finishing up a couple of cars for Saturday First thing to go wrong is I drop a finished wheel on the floor. It chipped the edge of the plastic this is a brand new wheel arrr I clean it up for my ndfw and use that one in its place put it on the car get it weighed and start tuning. Something isn't right, spin the wheels and have a strange vibration in front wheel I pull it apart and realize I have a burr on my axel. Where did it come from I have no idea and it can't be fixed. I have no other axels to used. so I am trying to get a friend to loan me the one off his boys car that I helped him build I hope he calls me back. So there my car sits on my tuning table waiting for an axel.
Now the second car. This one I built a few months for my rematch with my cousin ( I smoked him but that's another story) so I went to reprep and I start pulling wheels and I feel the axel support pop so I don't dare pull them out to reprep now because I might not have a car by Saturday.
So I have two cars that might run and might not at least I will get some times and I will keep these cars and not rob the parts before I build a car to beat them. Who knows I might get lucky
