I'll start:

Favorite- cutting and shaping the car. I could sit and and cut and shape cars all day long

Least favorite - wheel prep - don't mind drilling, testing the roll, prepping & installing axles, setting steer, etc but put off wheel prep for as long as possible.

I like cutting and shaping of body. I also like testing and tuning.

But I really don't care for axle prep.

In order, favorite to least.

1 - Building bodies is my fave part. and naming the cars
2 - I love the tuning aspect once the cars are built !
3 - Wheel Prep - It is okay... It is GREAT when I think I stumble onto something
4 - Axles... uchhhhh... I hate this part !
5 - Axles... uchhhhh... I hate this part !

Hmmmmm... did I say axles twice? LOL I wonder how that happened.

Favorite is tuning and running it and hearing that quite buzz as your car beats your current champ. Least favorite is when I have a dud and thought I had a hold on these cars and quickly realize I have no Idea what the heck i did wrong. But, those times are becoming less frequent. Great Question!

Haha! My least favorite is cutting, routing and shaping the body. My favorite part it polishing and preping wheels and axles.

I will make a deal with you Chris... I will cut all your car bodies from now on... you do my wheels and axles... whatcha think?

ok

Favorite part is building the body, weighting and tuning board. Least favorite is wheel and axle prep, only because I know so little about it. What should a good polish job look like, how fast to run the drill, did I use too much wax or not enough and on and on and on.

I enjoy building bodies the most. But I dislike the drilling them the most because you can mess a really nice body up really easy.

I thought most folks drilled first before shaping? I guess we all have our preferences...

Me personally, I'd rather drill and check the drill job before deciding whether to invest time on the bandsaw and/or scrollsaw.

Also, mark me down for 'wheel prep' for my least favorite part of the job. So easy to screw things up...
