Saw someone post about making fenders by putting several wheels together and chucking it up in a drill press...so I tried it. My version was two wheels glued together on a standard bsa axle. It left just enough of the tip to get it in the drill press.
Wrapped sandpaper around the wheels with spray adhesive. Used already tapered balsa (RC airplane flying dad gave it to me) and pretty happy with the result .
