Fire Series Point System

Reading the rules on the NPWDRL cite and it says,

"You must have at least 1 point in the Fire Series to compete in the Man of the Mountain Championship!"

If I were able to only run BASX for the April race, and somehow were able to earn 1 point, am I in position to only run in the BASX portion of the Man of the Mountain, or am I able to run in any of the classes?

Bracketracer you very well could be right. I assumed the fire series was the February,March, and April races which allowed you to qualify for the MOTM races that lasted all summer. I am very new to this league and don't know much about the NPWDRL. If I am incorrect with my assumptions could someone please clarify? Thanks in advance.

Fire series was last year which started in June, and yes it lead up to the MOTM in Dec. This year We will also start the series racing in June but I am not sure about how exactly the points will work but Joel will dial us all in.

Fire series does start in June. If you want to race in the Man of the Mountain finals you have to score at least 1 point in the fire series. The fire series runs from June-November.

Joel, could you clarify the op's second question? Do you have to earn at least one point in each class that you want to enter in MOTM like last year? (So if he only sends a BASX in the Fire Series and scores at least one point he'd only be eligible to enter BASX in MOTM?)

You are correct. Sorry my post was not so clear. What ever classes you are planning on racing in the finals you will at least need 1 point in said class. You want to run SS in the finals you need to race that class at least once during the series.
