First car in a long time..."Longshot"

This is my first non-Awana car since the team events last year. I call it "Longshot" because I have yet to build a competitive league car. I'm just gonna roll the dice and see how it goes.

It helped me. It took a midpack car and put it to tying the track record, but that was probably just one piece of the puzzle. Good luck!

Thanks everyone. I have taken in everything you guys have been sharing on this forum for a long time and add that with the awesome wheels/axles John sells and the result is my Longshot. I will not get to see it race because I will be at an Awana event this Saturday, but maybe it will meet my expectation (which is sub 3). I will set the bar higher as I learn more and with trial and error. Good luck to all of you Saturday!
